A New Option for Russia’s Gas Supply to Japan
On April 17 at the World Petroleum Congress ERI RAS and IEEJ presented key results of the joint study
“A New Option for Russia’s Gas Supply to Japan”, assessing technical feasibility and economic efficiency of the 8 bcm offshore pipeline from Sakhalin to Japan. Analyses demonstrate high attractiveness of this project both for the Japanese and for the Russian side.
