Annual congress “Russia-Germany 2012: between Presidential elections and joining the WTO”
On the 28th of June an annual congress Russia-Germany 2012: between Presidential elections and joining WTO” has been held. Beside the plenary session, 8 subject sessions starring high profile politicians, businessmen, consulting and scientific community representatives from Russia and Germany were held.
One of the sessions was specifically focused on energy and energy efficiency. The discussions highlighted such topics like changes in German energy policy and its potential impact on Russian energy sector, energy efficiency in Russian energy sector and ways to increase it, alternative energy in Russia and Germany, business cooperation opportunities in Germany and potential hazards for Russian business operating on German Energy market.
Deputy Director of the ERI RAS for scientific affairs, Mr.Vladimir Likhachev, Ph.D, took part in the energy session with his presentation “ENERGY EFFICIENCY AND RENEWABLE ENERGY DEVELOPMENT IN RUSSIAN ENERGY POLICY”.
